ORA-12154
ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified
What usually causes it
The alias isn't in the tnsnames.ora the client is reading, is misspelled, or NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH in sqlnet.ora excludes TNSNAMES.
What to check first
Check which tnsnames.ora is used (TNS_ADMIN). Try an EZConnect string to rule out naming.
